Aw I’m so incredible happy that I could help you feel better about yourself!
Okay first: stop beating yourself up about things you can’t change. If there’s something you don’t like about yourself, just don’t dwell on it! Think about all the beautiful parts of your body and of your personality. I know this might sound weird, but it helps to feel your body. Feel your hips, feel the curves of your tummy, feel the stretch of your neck as you roll your head back. It’s most important to embrace what you are insecure about. You just have to think, “This is what makes me me, and I’m beautiful.” Every single part of your body is important, and perfect the way it is.
But it’s not just about accepting yourself physically, you also have to emotionally. For example, I cry- ALL THE TIME! I am quite effusive and overall just very sensitive. For a long time it’s made me embarrassed. But now, I look at is as just a trait that makes me stronger. Because I am so emotional, I am more compassionate, I am more sensitive to those around me, and I have more kindness to give.
Basically, you just have to look at yourself- your entire self- and embrace and love it. Turn your negatives into positives. I promise they already are, you are just viewing them the wrong way.
But really, all it comes down to, is know that you are beautiful. Because you are love, inside and out.
Lots of love,
Bridget
